Job Summary:

The Outlet Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the retail outlet, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store standards. This role involves supervising staff performance, managing inventory, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring adherence to company policies for smooth and efficient outlet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service

• Perform sales activities to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

• Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

• Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements as needed.

Outlet Operations

• Oversee daily outlet operations including cleanliness, safety, visual merchandising, and overall store presentation.

• Ensure merchandise is well displayed, regularly restocked, and organized according to brand guidelines.

• Participate in stock control, inventory checks, and promptly report discrepancies to management.

• Maintain outlet security by monitoring for potential theft, fraud, or policy violations. Point of Sale (POS) Operations

• Handle customer transactions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in payment processing and adherence to cash handling procedures.

• Oversee the daily balancing of registers and ensure proper documentation of sales transactions.

• Secure cash and card payments and ensure timely preparation of bank deposits.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

• Lead, train, motivate, and guide outlet staff to deliver excellent performance and service.

• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and ensure task completion in a timely and efficient manner.

• Address staff concerns, provide constructive feedback, and support development needs.

• Assist in the recruitment process, evaluate probationary staff, and recommend confirmations based on performance.

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and SOPs.

• Support the Senior Supervisor or Head of Department in achieving department goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the outlet and overall business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum SPM/Diploma/Degree in Business or in any related field.

• Min 2-3 years of retail experience as a supervisor or manager preferred.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Able to work on shift basis, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

• Pleasant, well-groomed, and enjoy interacting with people

• Customer Oriented, team player, and possess initiative

• Proven experience in a retail or outlet supervisory role.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in cash handling, reporting, and inventory systems.
